This is why we will never move from our ok apartment. It’s worth roughly 2M - small mortgage left- and the maintenance is low. 2k a month all in

Is it a co-op? Some of that goes to property taxes. You are also (presumably) getting services like a doorman and a super.
But yeah, it’s a lot.

Who is feeling like that is a good deal? We can afford the $2.5 but can't then afford another $6k per month on top of the mortgage. I dont understand how so many people have this money to spend in this way...
