It does sound like a great experience. It would be DHs entire side and we all get along great. The kids adore their cousins and would truly have a blast.
What’s holding us back? I have a horrible phobia of cruise ships. I went on one cruise when I was 22 and it was hell on earth. I’ll spare you the details but I ended up so terribly sick I had to be hospitalized and almost didn’t graduate on time. Since then I’ve had a fear of any boat, but especially cruise ships. I know many people will tell me to get over it but the fear runs deep and I’m already sweating thinking about it. I’m also not comfortable having my kids go without me (even if DH attends). Yes, I’m generally a very anxious person.
I feel terrible turning it down. We probably won’t, but I don’t want to be a mess worrying about it for the next 3.5 months. Would you just do it? Has anyone been on one? If you aren’t a cruise person what are your thoughts?
I..I..I..I..I..I. What about your CHILDREN in this vacation? Husband? What is wrong with you? It is all about YOU! Get over it!

Anonymous wrote:I would be the same way. FWIW, a Disney cruise is probably going to be the best cruise option out there. If I was going to go on a cruise (ugh) it would be a Disney cruise.
