1. Lobbyists are not taking the Metro bus late at night. Get real.

2. However, there are a lot of individuals who work late into the night in hospitality in Georgetown and at the university hospitals (GW and GT) who rely on the bus and live on the cheaper east side of the city. Kinda weird that these folks are basically screwed.

That's the heart of lobbyist working late territory. Why?

Between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m., Metrobus will operate every 20 minutes or better on the 14 routes – A6, A8, B2, H4, S2, V2, W4, X2, 32, 33, 52, 70, 80, 92 – with two routes extended to serve additional bus stops after Metrorail operations close for the night. These high ridership routes on key corridors will predominantly support late-night and early-morning essential workers in hospitality, healthcare, and entertainment industries.
