This year we're going to Vail / Beaver Creak, CO! But using points/miles, etc..

I know my kids are only in elementary and I’m sure it changes as they get older, but I don’t feel this way at all, and we’re staying put.

It would bother me more if I didn't mind traveling during the holidays. I HATE it and we are happy to stay home.

I think it’s normal for people to ask what you are doing for the holidays. What else are you going to ask about? We will be traveling, but I don’t boast about it

Same. But I'm also the type that enjoys seeing everyone's get togethers and vacations or events on SM and I've found that's uncommon on this forum.

I used to feel this way but I also think it’s just assumed that everyone can afford to travel somewhere. So it’s making small talk and also sharing tips on where to go and where to stay. That said yes you also get the people who really make a big deal and drop it into totally unrelated conversations.
