Although the dash cam still won’t absolve you of responsibility for the crash. You’re still at-fault, even if they swerved in front of you and slammed their brakes on.


A better solution to deal with this is to stop being dependent on cars and switch to bikes or public transit. You’ll be healthier, too.

I drove a nicer car when I was in my 20s and one day I was on a road early morning with almost no other cars. All of a sudden a car passed me, swerved into my lane and slammed on brakes. Thankfully I stopped just in time, but it was SO obvious it was a scam. The front passenger even turned all the way around and looked once we were stopped, I guess to confirm I wasn’t going to hit them after all. I sat there and waited until they drove off before I started moving again. It was so jarring.

I have to drive regularly on the beltway. With kids as well i need to transport them. Once this happened with one of my kids in the car. The person slammed on the brakes and then actually started backing up

Cameras that capture front and back. Are you involved in a lot of road rage incidents?
