Yep.
Although the dash cam still won’t absolve you of responsibility for the crash. You’re still at-fault, even if they swerved in front of you and slammed their brakes on.
A better solution to deal with this is to stop being dependent on cars and switch to bikes or public transit. You’ll be healthier, too.
