We converted the Parent Questionnaire Form from a PDF to a MS Word document, and typed in our answers in Word (better for formatting and font) and then re-converted to a PDF for submission. Our school's AART told us that as long as all answers were visible and fit within the box and stayed on one page, we could do it this way for ease of typing in the answers without dealing with the weird formatting and text issues. I just downloaded Adobe Reader on my MacBook and had no issue. I have several sentences (maybe 8-10?) in the form. And my handwriting is awful so I need to type, lol.

So you can handwrite smaller than the font and spacing the form uses? I doubt you'd fit in more by hand writing than by typing. Just be succinct. You don't need a million examples. Everyone's working with the same space constraints.

Use different software to fill it then. Depending on how I fill my PDFs I get totally different behavior. A browser, for example, is way worse than actual PDF software.

Pick a single example, the most impactful one, and describe it in a few sentences. I typed this in Mac's Preview app, which has a reasonable font size for both fitting information and being legible.

I don't really know what I'm doing, but my AART reviews files for parents on request and always told me my examples were helpful and provided a well-rounded picture of my kids.
