Real tree and wreath on the front door. Fake garland outside front door that DH hates; but it’s beautiful, I love it, so not going into the landfill

Real tree, fake outside garlands and wreaths. I read that the later was more environmentally friendly so made the switch a few years back but just can’t bring myself to have a plastic tree.

Fake tree, I won’t have a real tree since that horrifying fire in Annapolis a few years back.

Fake tree, real wreath, flower boxes, planters and garlands. I cut a lot from my yard. I only buy the basic wreath and garland, then add a ton of evergreens, holly, berries to them.

We buy a real wreath and hang it on the door. Have done that for years. The only change is now we buy one locally instead of from like, Williams-Sonoma.

A mix. A real tree, a real wreath on the front door. Fake wreaths on the fence. Real greens I arrange myself in the planter boxes n my porch. A mix of fake and real n the fireplace mantel.
I like real, but it can be expensive unless you have access to a lot of greenery and have a lot of time.

—if you’ve switched from one to another recently, what was your rationale?
—also wondering, does anyone make all their own garlands, wreaths, and swags?
