Every mass shooter event, it subsequently comes out that there were warming signs and things said that family members or law enforcement ignored. They have to take this seriously, especially in today’s climate.

My child was very rattled by it and said that kids got into a fight and one kid said he would shoot up the school tomorrow. Police said "there is no imminent threat" but this is always the case. What's the probability they went to this kid's house and confiscated any guns - zero. Apparently our red flag laws are useless
I am a Kilmer parent and got the email. It said “threat of gun violence” which is kind of vague. Where did you hear that someone said they were going to “shoot up the school tomorrow”?
Sounds like they’re going to have extra security tomorrow as a safety precaution. My kid and his friend were speculating on whether or not the kid would get expelled.
My kid claims to have heard it directly. I challenged them on the content of the statement - I said oh well since he lost the fight, he probably just threatened to shoot the guy he was fighting with. My kid is adamant he issued a blanket threat to shoot up the school.
