The only hesitation is linked in because most people have it even if many haven't been updated in over a decade

It really depends. I increased my social media just slightly when I started dating again just to have backup that I really am single and have the career I claim I do.

I’ve had more than one woman tell me she was sleeping with a married man who claimed he was single without social media.

+1
Dh and I manage well. I do miss out on some school related parent group convos but sometimes it sounds like I should be thankful I missed out. I don't need to invite jealousy by posting about my life or hear everyone's political opinions.

Same. If my husband was posting on Twitter or Instagram all the time and caring about “likes” I would find that deeply unattractive. There’s something so needy about that behavior that’s just a huge turn-off.

How old are you? Why would this be a red flag? Social media is by and large toxic. Perhaps you should date him and then follow his lead.

No one in my family (young and old) is on social media, as in, no one has personal accounts.

So that would seem normal to me.

I'd find it to be a sign we are quite compatible.

I love my wife, but if she cared less about Twitter drama that wouldn't make me love her less.

I would say the exact opposite

No, it just means that he has a life.

Men don’t do social media as much as women so I would say this is probably fairly normal.

Not at all.

Can be either - depends on why.

I’d say it’s a gigantic green flag. I don’t do social media either - neither does my husband.

Is it weird for someone not to be on social media? My friends introduced me to this really funny, good looking guy over the weekend. We hit it off, had great conversation and exchanged numbers. We’ve been texting, but when I look him up on social media there is nothing - no Facebook, no LinkedIn, no Instagram. Is this a red flag?
