Dips I've had served warm that were surprisingly good that way:

Hummus with roasted red tomatoes
Butternut squash
Eggplant like baba ganoosh

There's probably a way to make a spinach artichoke dip without cheese.

There are loads of Indian snacks that don't involve cheese - samosas, pakora, vada, aloo tikki, etc.

I checked pinterest and there are alot of cheese related appetizers.
Any other ideas? I'm trying to avoid cheese but yet things will stick together and stay warm.
