THANK YOU for answering. Yes, it is on my right hand as well, and I thought it had to be some sort of positioning that I was doing poorly. Like positioning my hand a certain way while I pull through the water creating excess tension on the thumb joint.
I don't know what paddles are!
Do you keep your thumb tight to your hand when you pull through the stroke?
