I'm waiting for a post that says "I'm so sad my friends didn't text happy Thanksgiving"

It’s one of the few holidays that nearly all Americans celebrate, regardless of religion, ethnicity, etc.

I don’t get saying “Happy Mother’s Day” to people who are not family members. That’s an odd one, given the highly personal nature of the greeting and relationship.

The only thing is, if it's a text, to remember that some of us are in different time zones, so the Happy Thanksgiving text for me started arriving at 4am

This reminded me to send my happy thanksgiving text to all my friends and family!

OP, I’m with you. The group texts from coworkers and neighborhood groups are the worst.

When my friends text me Happy Thanksgiving - I tell them that I am thankful for them. I am thankful for my friends. To each his / her own.

Wow. Maybe block those people on your phone, OP, because it seems like you don't actually like them.

I love the warm fuzzies of texts, even if it's only on a holiday. Someone was thinking of me. That's awfully nice.

Merry Christmas, I can understand.
Happy Mother’s Day, okay.
Happy New Years, sure.

But Thanksgiving?? I don’t need your Happy Thanksgiving text, it’s annoying.

Also if I never see you or talk to you on the phone, but you only text me on holidays, please stop. Just let it go.
