The WaPo sent out a reporter to find the secret recipe and it turned out that the market was selling...heated up Marie Callender pies. Does anyone remember this article? Probably was in the Style section in the 90s.
Well, then I'm set. I paid $6 each for MC's pumpkin and pecan pies.
I have made them from scratch before, but this year I decided to give myself some grace.
