The "doorbusters" as the ones you want to keep an eye on for Black Friday itself. Otherwise, it probably isn't worth it.

I went to Home Depot with my retired mom last year and we had a great time and bought multiple things at a major discount! I wouldn't recommend Walmart or Target but other stores are fine and the deals are often legit.

Alot of people do. Consumerism is America’s religion, and Black Friday shopping is one of its rituals. Only the truly devout participate.

My family growing up and my family now have never done this, except the year we were renovating our kitchen and got all the appliances that day.

Went out a long time ago, pre kids. Now just spend time with kids & do online shopping.
