Duck doesn’t feed more than 3-4. I would do 2 of each, because duck is more special than chicken so I would prioritize it.

2 chicken and 1 duck is fine.

Maybe get an extra chicken to be safe.

We are doing 3 turkey breasts (7lbs each) for 14 people.

Assuming you have all the traditional sides, the meat becomes secondary, and people ear a lot less than you think.

I just looked it up. Apparently a duck is not actually bigger than a chicken. It's about the same size. So I am going to guess that one entire duck would be enough meat for 4.

Cornish hens is an option. I have made those several times. They are about 3 to 3 1/2 pounds each. Each person gets 1/2 of a cornish hen.
The only problem I would have with cornish hens though is my oven is small, so I could only cook 4 at a time.

2 chicken are not enough. I’d have one breast per meat eater.

I’m going to have about 13 meat eaters (plus some vegans/non-vegetarians) on my hand for Thanksgiving. No one likes Turkey, so I wanted to do chicken and duck. Are 2 chicken and 1 duck (I’m fairly certain 3 or 4 of the 13 won’t eat it) sufficient?

If you have bought duck before, what’s a good source?
