My kid is there now and a math / science double major. She is very happy. The dorm is nicer and has AC, which was great in August/September. She likes the group activities and has made many like minded friends. She’s very glad she chose Orion.

DS lived there two years ago. It was fine. Definitely a nicer dorm than some and he liked the suite set up, although I think hall-style is better for meeting more people. He didn't like the make-work project probably in part because while his major is college of science it's not a typical hard science. But I do think the regular meetings with a small group that proactively talked about college adjustment issues were a good thing.

He said at the end of the year that it was fine but he'd have preferred to do Meraki, which is where his best friend lived. That's the 'well-being" focused LLC.

Our kid lived there last year. Very nice dorm and good overall social experience that helped ease the college transition. small community within a big school. The academic element, they take a class each semester, was only so-so. I got the impression it was more busy work than anything.
