Yes, I did this exact trade. My Xc90 was fine, but my sienna feels so much roomier on the inside. We do a lot of road trips to visit family and it’s much better for that.

Yeah,love my minivan, plus no one gets too upset if I drive slower in it.

Minivan lover here. But I'm partial to Honda. I just prefer the interiors, especially at the higher trim levels. Odyssey Elite is pretty luxurious on the inside for a non-luxury brand.

By the time you trade in your Volvo. The dealer will be making about 10,000 dollars off of you. That's a lot of gas money.

We actually just bought an 2024 XC90 Ultimate Recharge. We have put 700 miles on the car and still have half a gas tank left. No complaints here!

I prefer the bigger car for hauling around kids/kids' friends, and our dogs. I have considered keeping the XC90 and buying a small electric or hybrid for my commute but I don't really want to have 3 cars (plus DH's car) and all the expenses that come with it. Could be an option though, I guess.

Comparable cars with the same amount of room inside are too large for me to drive like the suburban. Even the top models, while luxurious, aren’t as nice as Volvos though.

That being said, I’d think you’d want a small car for a commuter.

I did the opposite. I traded my minivan for an XC90 b/c I didn't need the size of a minivan for one person commuting 5 days per week. The XC90 is fine for my family of 4 on the weekends.

I am seriously considering it. I am starting a new job soon that will require a long commute and the idea of driving my XC90 an hour each way, 5x per week, with one person in it, seems nuts. I am looking to trade it in for a hybrid and really like the Sienna.
