Does the sink have shut-off valves? Just shut them off until you're ready to deal with it.

Agree. It's likely a bad washer or fitting. Nothing to worry about unless it gets substantially faster. It will be an easy job for a plumber. Your only job is to decide what kind of new laundry faucet you want.
You might also want to consider whether you'd like the plumber to install a laundry shutoff valve. Some people like to turn the water to the laundry (or whole house) off if they plan to be away for any length of time.

You might have a slightly higher water bill and it will take a plumber 20 minutes to fix it.

No rush. That's a really slow drip, and it's contained in the sink.

Noticed by chance that our basement laundry tub faucet is slowly dripping. Maybe a single drip every 2-3 minutes. It’s an old antiquated faucet directly attached to the copper pipe and there’s no way I can replace it myself. But now it’s driving me crazy with worry. Having some plumbing work done in early ‘24. Can this wait until then, do you think?
