As far as clothing, I agree with lipstick.

Lipstick is clothing? Now I’ve read everything.

I LOVE Eileen Fisher but I wouldn't go there to feel more feminine. I feel like that's where I go when I am ready to move into a cave with my powerful coven - which, often, I am.

Any ideas for feminine earrings, pretty handbags, feminine outerwear, or other feminine styling with my given limitations? Thanks for your suggestions.

Look at knee length wool coats from J Crew, H&M, Ralph Lauren, etc. A fabulous wool coat looks great over any outfit, especially when paired with a great scarf (wool or silk scarves would both work) and leather gloves (or cashmere gloves). Also look for a nice trench coat from Coach, Coach Outlet, H&M, for fall and spring. Buy your coats first then choose bags to go with them to make the look cohesive. Coach Outlet is a great resource for bags. I have a large leather Coach outlet tote that looks great with both a trench and a wool coat. I also have a small patent leather shoulder bag that also works with either coat. Just make sure your bag color works with both the winter coat and the trench.

I like those skinny silk scarves from brands like Burberry, Coach, Gucci, etc. They look great with casual denim button downdown shirts and with dressier blouses and blazers. Examples:

  • Scarves like these are easy to throw on and dress up an outfit (even joggers).

Look for a blazer that you cannthrow on over a t-shirt. I recently bought a great Anne Klein blazer from TJ Maxx that looks great over a t shirt and casual pants.

Not the OP, but thank you! I like your suggestions and the links.

I feel feminine with accessories. Right now I'm loving the expensive gold hoops that DH got me for my birthday. I like stacking necklaces perfectly too.

Hormones (if appropriate) and a vibrator will go a lot further than any clothing.

As far as clothing, I agree with lipstick.

Get a couple new pieces of athleisure in brighter colors.
Go to Sephora and buy a new blush and lipstick or lip balm.
Get your nails and toenails done
Occasionally swap out athleisure for comfy jeans, pick up two new blouses or tops or sweaters for the season.

Can you try mixing in some comfy pants that are slightly more dressy, for example pointe pants? Spank and Brass have good ones. You can wear these with sweaters and or blouses and feel more put together but still comfy.

I hear ya as I also wear a lot of athleisure. To me it makes a difference whether I like it or it’s updated to current trends. Maybe that would help?

Your hormones are also changing irreversibly even if you end up taking HrT. Don’t try to force what is not. Men lose testosterone too. Just get nice brands of stretchy pants. Low quality or worn out comfy wear will make you feel worse.

Do you wear makeup? I think freshly painted nails make me feel feminine

Between perimenopause and many medical issues (my own and family), I’m losing touch with my femininity and feeling down. My lifestyle dictates a lot of athleisure/athletic shoes/wash and wear easy wardrobe. I also can’t wear perfume and limit jewelry aside from earrings.

Any ideas for feminine earrings, pretty handbags, feminine outerwear, or other feminine styling with my given limitations? Thanks for your suggestions.
