Weren’t some tribes nomadic? How do you determine what exactly is their land? Where would the boundaries be?

OP how would you survey this? How would you determine the $$ they’re owed?

Well, obviously it should go to the respective tribal leaders who have done such an amazing job of sharing their casino wealth with the rest of the tribe.

Sorry, but that doesn’t matter. If you unwittingly buy something stolen, you still have to give it back to original owner and if you knew it was stolen, you go to jail. That’s the way it works…

Sorry, but that doesn’t matter. If you unwittingly buy something stolen, you still have to give it back to original owner and if you knew it was stolen, you go to jail. That’s the way it works…

I mean, guess not? I dunno - this is what Google told me. For all I know, the land was worth a lot more and the Native Americans who were paid for the land got ripped off and just had no idea.

My neighbor's grandmother paid $5,000 for their house in 1928. They still live there (grandchildren). They stole it from the Donahue family.

I'm not posting where I live now, but I grew up on land that was in the mid 1600's from the Marsapeque, Matinecoc, and Sacatogue tribes. The guy who bought the land paid what would now amount to about $38,000 .
