- 4th best weekend for a post-pandemic, PG-13 action sequel about an American fighter pilot.
- 5th best weekend for a 2023, PG-13, film with a 30+ year old blonde woman in the lead role.
- 4th best November opening weekend for a Disney film in which one of the main characters is a blonde woman with superpowers.
- 5th best opening weekend for a MCU film with a female lead.
- 33rd best opening weekend for an MCU film.

I'm typically a huge Marvel fan, but I've thought everything since Endgame has been really subpar. I took my older DD to see The Marvels today, with very low expectations based on the reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was well done, with good humor mixed in.
I had not read any spoilers and was pretty shocked by the mid-credits scene, too.

I have a tween who loves Marvel, so I saw it. I thought it was really funny. Plot definitely had some holes, but much more enjoyable than other recent Marvel movies I’ve seen (Love and Thunder, Multiverse of Madness, The Eternals, Quantumania) The actress playing Kamala Khan really sparkled.

The reviews are terrible. It's the same plot as Spaceballs. They should go back to Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America.
