I turn the AC on at night, even in winter (well, what passes for winter in the DMV) because having the heat set at 68 or 66 won't actually drop the temperature that cold because our house is well-insulated. My husband is skinny and runs cold and complains a lot, but if he wants to keep sharing a bed and bedroom, he has to suck it up.

Taking a cold-ish shower before bed can help as well.

I use a linen comforter cover as a top sheet with a comforter over that and can stick a leg or my arms out from under for additional cooling if need be.

I have a fan right next to the bed. I reach out in the night and turn it on when I feel too hot.

Turn the thermostat down even lower at night in the winter. I run cold, but I keep my house at 67 during the day and 63 at night, for environmental and cost reasons. I wear thick fleeces and sweaters in the winter to stay warm, but lucky you, you have an internal sweater!

I set the heat at 67 and sleep on cotton percale sheets that are fairly cool. I start with a comforter, but usually fling that off at some point. I haven’t heard of the topper you mention.

I am a hot middle age woman. Literally! I sleep with a muslin blanket and it has helped. Google "adult muslin blanket". They have pricey ones at Pottery Barn and the sort but the Emme one on Amazon has been very good.

I just keep bringing the temperature down further at night and turning on the ceiling fan. I’m down to 68 degrees and I think some of my family members may be about to mutiny. So I’m following this thread with the hopes my furnace days are over.

Have you found a cooling mattress protector/topper that you like and that works? Yesterday I saw something that purported to have "cooling copper" woven into it. Does this work? Anything that's worked for you?
