How much of a pain is it to get from Crozet to Charlottesville over time?

I’m wondering if it’s something I will tire of doing regularly for
the needs not available in Crozet. I do find myself in Target weekly or Walmart instead of grocery stores for mainly kids needs which can vary.

It's very easy, especially if you are used to DCUM land. From Crozet you drive south down 810 for a few miles, turn left on 250 and there's a Harris Teeter on your right. Continue on 250 and you will be in Charlottesville and all that she offers including the Barracks Road shopping centers. Want big box? continue on 250 and turn NE on Route 29 and you will find everything: Lowe's, Target, Walmart, Staples, Theaters, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and so on. I live on the Keswick side of town and truly enjoy my shopping chores which I never did in the DC/VA suburbs.

You could shift more (not all) of your shopping to online. Groceries and food you get yourself, but if you need Christmas lights? You need a vacuum? You need a Swiffer refill? You need a lightbulb? Order them online instead of driving to Target.

No personal experience, but being from the area, I can say there are plenty of people who live in Crozet and commute to Charlottesville

Unless you hate to drive at all, that’s a nothing drive. There’s a lot of stores right on the Crozet side of Charlottesville.

Nice new real estate options in both areas as we prefer new builds.
