We started with similar symptoms at Urgent Care and were told to go to another suburban hospital but had to leave there against doctor’s advice because they were taking forever for transport to arrive to take him to Georgetown or Children’s and we felt they were wasting precious time waiting around doing nothing for him as he was getting sicker before our eyes. Dont be afraid to take your daughter straight to Georgetown or Children’s to get treatment underway even if it means leaving where she is now. Time matters. Praying for a speedy recovery.
PP here again. Once the doctors started the antibiotics our son started to get better before our eyes. It was remarkable. It took a few days for a full recovery but it happened.
