+1 Not a fan of her music, but I can simply not listen to it.

As a modern woman, I wasn't aware it was up to Cardi B to advance my cause. She's not the president of Emily's List, she's a performer.

That B is a male demon with fake titties and a silicone butt. How you all don't see that boggles my mind.

I personally do think her songs and performances cross into vulgarity vs female empowerment

NP. We have a common sense of decency - and some people violate it. Yes?

Absolutely not. "Morality" is personal and subjective. What is indecent to you is "taking control of her sexuality" to others.

I don't personally listen to her but I have no opinion on her "morality", certainly not based on her music/videos.

Also, you act like this is new? You must not be familiar with lots of other singers/performers (e.g., Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilera, Madonna, and others). Lots of women use their sexuality for whatever purpose they deem appropriate. If that's not your cup of tea, just move on grannie and worry about yourself.

Why are you watching the videos and googling the lyrics if you find it so upsetting? Do you do that with all art forms you think are morally below you? Or just female rap artists?

We all have different views on what's decent or not. But no one is making you listen to music you don't like and no one is saying you have to agree with people who think artist x is a feminist icon.

I don't care if she's helping the modern women's cause. Has she made that claim? I like some of her songs and the ones I don't I ignore.

Yea I feel the same way about country music.

Drink, get drunk, stalk your ex, drink more whiskey.

Does anyone actually believe Cardi B is helping the modern woman’s cause? I don’t buy into how this could possibly translate to “ownership of sexuality”. I just watched the Bongos music video and read the lyrics, and my god. It’s a race to the bottom of the moral barrel.
