FWIW we did everything but paint for our son’s nursery in a rental. At the time we didn’t really have any intentions of moving. Ended up buying a house when he was 5 months old. It was still 100% worth it to set up a room for him the way we wanted. Just do it, you won’t regret it.

How on earth would any of us know? I mean, landlords avoid turnover as much as possible so that works in your favor, but there could be a lot of other factors at play.
