Subject: beach and jungle combo for spring break?
We did this in Belize. Our 3 resorts were:
Lamanai Outpost lodge (2 nights). They picked us up from airport and drove / boated us to the lodge. They also arranged our later flight to San Ignacio.
San Ignacio Resort (3 nights). They arranged ATM and cave tubing and Belize Zoo.
Phoenix Resort (3 nights). They arranged our flights to AC and later to the airport for our flights home.

Costa Rica isn’t known for its beaches, fwiw.
I’d opt for Puerto Rico and I wouldn’t limit myself to one resort and jungle trip.

Agree with Costa Rica. We really enjoyed Tulemar at Manuel Antonio. It has its own private beach and lots of nature/wildlife on the property, including sloths. If you want a true jungle experience, head to the Osa Peninsula. We've stayed at both Copa de Arbor (higher end) and Anguila de Osa (more rustic).

Costa Rico. LaFortuna/Arenal are amazing and they have incredible resorts. Do you really need a beach? Lots of awesome resort pools, hot springs and streams. There is so much to do in the country but getting around takes a long time.

Looking for recommendations for a beach/jungle hotel.resort in the Caribbean, Mexico, or Central America for our family of 4 (kids are tweens). Needs to have both a swimmable beach and opportunities for nature /wildlife exploration on property or very nearby.
