Is this the Mormon writer? Just heard of it this week and can’t imagine the writing is any better than Twilight.

The writing is very basic. What's more, the publisher is fast tracking the books. The quality of writing in the first book wasn't great and I think Iron Flame isn't as good. BUT it's fun. I'm not exactly in hate-read territory, but I'm getting a little impatient with the lack of development on the main plot.
All that aside, I’m still enjoying it. It is far from the best fantasy series I’ve read, but it’s fun.
