2018 Toyota Sienna AWD. 127K miles on it. Most functional vehicle out there and next for winter driving in the mountains during ski season (the new hybrids have way less cargo space) Two kids still at home. Someone in our family will drive it until it dies—our first one was totaled twice before we finally had to scrap it.

I drive a sedan because I like having smaller cars that can fit in tight parking spots. My kids are tween and teen so no issues about opening doors.

A minivan. We have 2 elementary aged kids but the minivan is unbeatable for carpooling, road trips.

I have a Honda Pilot, DH has a Honda Odyssey. Four kids, ages 2-9.

A Chrysler Pacifica Plug in Hybrid. Three kids, age 1, 3 and 4. I LOVE it.

I was well served by a Toyota Highlander during the booster seat/carpooling years. Now I’ve downsized to a Subaru Forester and love it.

A pink Lamborghini

We have two modest Japanese cars, both of them scraped up, thanks to my husband and son's type of driving. Sigh.

What I really want is a nice red bouncy Fiat or a cute Mini Cooper. Preferably electric. But then neither of them would be allowed to drive them. On the other hand, they're such small cars, they wouldn't scrape them against a Whole Foods garage column, would they?!?!

Of course they would.

Three kids, 12, 10, 7 - Tesla Model X. Tires are the only maintenance it's needed in the seven years we've had it. We have the seven-seater model and car pool plenty. Definitely not a "mom car," but it's one of the safest vehicles on the market, which was important to us.

If you’re hauling a bunch of young kids, play dates, etc get a 7 seater. My old Land Rover was fantastic for schlepping

Whatever car you want, forget about your neighbors. Do you haul lots of kids? Lots of stuff? Dogs? Commute long distances or stick to a 5 mile radius?

It doesn't have to be a mom car but I'm thinking about the next car to purchase and wondering what type it should be? There are a lot of people in my neighborhood that drive Mercedes, Lincoln, BMWs SUV looking cars. Just looking at ideas.
