I have various stainless containers with silicone lids that don’t leak. I also save the plastic takeout dressing and sauce containers to use.

I do put whatever dressing container I use into another leakproof or leak resistant container for extra insurance.. So if it’s a salad, the dressing goes in a small silicone topped stainless container inside the sealed salad container.

I use a tiny jar that originally had caviar in it. Holds an ounce or two.

My daughter does this every day. We have small containers for dressing that have a screw on lid. The screw on lid is key for not leaking.

Another option is a small food container repurposed. We’re currently using an old “shorty” caper jar. Food safe and leak proof.

Mine will also use a (old) small pimento jar with a wider opening if they wanna “dip” something.

I can’t see this working for a kid with a lunch container shoved sideways into a backpack and jostled around half the day before lunch

Oxo makes condiment containers. Work great for salad dressing (and for ketchup or other things to dip, for when you need it). Disk shaped.

Dress the salad in advance.

Amazon has options. Just search for "tiny salad dressing container."

There are little silicon bottles that hold a serving of dressing. They look like the TSA approved little silicon bottles for hair products and lotion.

My kid’s Costco lunch boxes came with little dressing containers. They don’t leak at all. Are you in a buy nothing group? Maybe you can find it there.

You can buy premade salad dressing in tiny portions.
I have a container that seems to not leak, but I have no idea what brand it is. It’s round with a screw on lid and I got it from Target.

My kid wants salads. What’s the best way to send a few Tbs of dressing? I haven’t found anything without mixed reviews that list leaks as the top complaint.

This would be in a basic Lands End lunch box, which, of course, is shoved in backpack and 1/2 height locker.
