I know they don't really matter, but for my junior they were important. My kid had been prepping for the November SAT, so an increase over the PSAT10 was a good sign that the work they were doing was having an impact. It's positive reinforcement. Luckily, the results show a nice improvement over last year and we are hopeful that the SAT will show the same type of result. Also, it's a good data point for how they perform on the digital test.
