It's not a wedding = it's not so important. Keep it outside with coats. As long as it's in the 60's

I do remembering chattering through an outdoor wedding in the low 50s. Everyone wore their coats and darted inside ASAP.

Women in cocktail dresses aren’t very hardy. The men will be fine.

50s, but only if you warn people to wear winter clothes and provide hot beverages and hot food, which means you need warmers, etc, like a catering service. A fire pit might be nice, for ambience.

Essentially it becomes cheaper to have an indoor party at that point.

Mid fifties.

But why not go to home edit etc and get a few heater lamps?

Depends on time of day and whether rainy/damp. I don’t mind standing outside in cold weather.

If it starts during daylight and it’s dry? High 40’s-50’s.

If it starts after sunset and it’s dry? Mid 50’s

If it’s rainy, I would say low 60’s and high 50’s at the coldest. It just feels colder in the rain.

During covid, I would have stood outside in 20 degree weather. But now, not so much.

I mean, it's November. What did you expect?

What time of day? Will sun/bodies warm the tent?

I went to an outdoor cocktail party last night, preceding an indoor dinner. I don't know what the temp was - maybe mid to upper 50's by the time of the event- but everyone wore their coats during cocktails. It was chilly once the sun went down (and last night was before the time change).

60s. But just move it inside, you’ll feel better and everyone can be comfortable.

Need to make a decision for this weekend either to keep it outside OR move it indoors.
We have a covering for wet - but wet and cold is different than just wet.

Thoughts?
