I’ve thought about getting one because the EV Lightning equivalent of the “Lariat” trim model (the base “work truck” version without all the crappy luxury nonsense) is actually cheaper than most of gas trucks in the line up.

I’m very aware of its pathetic limitations as an EV truck - 40-60 miles range while towing, etc., so none of that comes as a surprise to me. But being able to use it as a 110/240v power source for things makes up for that. I would only use it in a local-range type scenario, so the range limitations and charge times are mostly negated by that.

When the dealers really start blowing them out, I might snag one.
