I like mine for broth, apple sauce, steamed root veg. But i can manage without. Its helpful to have it for soup and not take up space on the stove

I use mine regularly - for chicken soup, curries, ribs, etc.

I love curries with carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash, and the instant pot lets me make them quickly. I live at 9k feet, so it would take me forever without a pressure cooker. I suppose I could use an actual pressure cooker, but I like the timing function.

I make pretty much all of my soups in it. Even if I don’t make the soup in it, I make the chicken/beef broth in it to start. I also use it in the summer to make stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato soup, etc., when my garden is going nuts. And I still use it for braises of all kinds, especially in the fall/winter.

+1, we eat a lot of hard boiled eggs.

Less often, I make pulled chicken.

I use mine multiple times a week - eggs, beans, stewed fruit for mixing in yogurt, steamed dumplings, and rice (which isn't as good as a rice cooker but I have a very small kitchen)

Nope. Gave mine away to some new afghan immigrants.

Very good for cooking beans.

Best tool to get very hot and nice sears. Way cleaner.

At least once a week, but once you have one, there’s no reason to need another! They saturate at the market too quickly.

I use mine a lot!

Kitchn spaghetti
Beans
Ribs
Pulled pork
Chicken stock

That’s probably the main stuff.

I just use it to pressure cook beans. But i do that once a week or so, so probably still worth it.
