It's a big fat target in the Med.
We are the United States of America. We don’t need to cower. We spend almost a trillion dollars a year on our military. Let’s use it.
Let the Arab states take care of them. We don't need to borrow money from China so we can aid them.

This.
ICYMI: Hezbollah is dying to fight, and they are far better equipped than Hamas. Far better. And, they are publicly stating their intention to go after America and our interests. Our ship would be an easy target.
May I suggest instead that Egypt, Lebanon, and others work with the Red Cross and others to safely move people elsewhere for humanitarian assistance?
I’m appalled at the pushback by Arab nations in the area. Appalled.
The Egyptian John Stewart (Bassem Youssef) suggested the solution to the neverending crisis is to give Florida to Israel so the Jews can be relocated and Palestinians would get their land back. Or someplace in Europe would work, too.
He’s probably not wrong if the measure of success is moving Jewish people far away from the militant groups (and everyday folks) who want them dead and gone. But he’s not right either. He places the blame squarely on Europeans (historically) followed by America. Zero agency for the Arab nations and militant groups dedicated to the destruction of Israel and Jews.
