One thing that is pretty popular is picking up catered orders the day before (and if you do that, you will have more selection). I have ordered from Page's Okra Grill in MP for the last three years:

I responded to that post. I had seen the link, but the restaurants did not work for our situation, and takeout is not an option as mom is in an ALF.

We ended up reserving in Shems Creek at Waters Edge. Was there several years ago but our situation is different now so I wanted to know all options and other people’s experiences.

How much more traction were you looking for?

I’m referring to the one entitled “Thanksgiving in the Charleston Area” where I asked a very specific question. I only got two replies, and one of them was condescending like yours. I know someone else asked for general restaurant recommendations for a girls weekend or something like that so I think you’re confusing it with that one.

You’re coming off like a jerk here.

How so? PP was confusing another thread for mine, and I was just pointing out. She subsequently acknowledged it.

I remember seeing both threads, the general restaurant one is what I did remember now that I went back and looked for both of them.

You may just need to call around which is possibly why you didn't get many responses. Your ask is very specific in terms of open on holiday, serving a sit down meal, and ADA compliant which should be most places.

Posted this on the travel forum but didn’t get much traction.

Need a place to go out in the Charleston area (or Mount Pleasant/IOP) for four, one of which is elderly and has mobility issues. Would prefer not to have a buffet due to said mobility issues. Went to a few places years ago with parents but the dynamic seems to have changed. Also not looking for take out as mo. Lives in an ALF.

Thanks
