This is not true. What is true is that you need a washing machine that will spin out at 1400+rpm. Oversized machines are up to 1200 and they don't work as well with the heat pump technology because there's more residual water.
Our most basic Miele pair can manage king sized bedding and clothes for 3 kids, no issues and the standard dry cycle takes just over a half hour for a normal load of clothes.

Anonymous wrote:Not sure what you mean by a but longer. We had a ventless washer/dryer combo when we lived in another country and drying took (literally) hours. We hung all of our laundry to dry.
