I will say my husband and I had an “oops” in September and I got pregnant while on ozempic and it ended in a chemical.

I'm in the early stages of IVF and the doctor doesn't want me off of it until we know there are good embryos to transfer, not even for egg retrieval.

Oh man my IVF Dr and Endo both said absolutely not to ozem or similar until after baby is here and breastfeeding is done. That they can put me on it in 2025.

You have a smart doctor. Looks like the other one just wanted to make money.

Why would an IVF specialist prescribe this? It’s a diabetes management medication.

It's linked to pregnancy achievement but also birth defects in rats. 2 months is the actual recommendation from medical professionals.

Go for it, OP.

Has anyone tried conceiving after taking a GLP-1 drug?

Background: I got on it because I was overweight and after a miscarriage and wanted to honestly get healthier and feel good about myself. I’m off of it after losing 30 pounds (yay) and am ready to try again for no 2.

I know they say wait 2 months but has anyone done more than that? Just want to be safe.

Thank you!
