Nomatic is great. For other options watch Pack Hacker reviews on YouTube.

Tom Bihn has some nice options (aeronaut for example), also a little expensive but very durable and well-designed

Love the Peak Design 45L. Expensive at $300, but they do have sales sometimes- got it a few years back on Black Friday for 30% off. Really well made with high quality materials, super thoughtful design. Easy on the back with the hip belt.

These 2 are pretty much the same bag. My 22yo son has the first one. This is the only luggage that he has. He traveled to Europe for 10 days where the rest of us needed a rolling carry-on and he packed everything in his bag.

These are too big to meet carry -on requirements. Generally you can't go above 45L.

Each member of my family has one of these in the carry on size, and then we also have 2 of the "skidmark" size-but we generally try to to travel with carry ons only so those don't get used as much.
I love this bag. It's comfortable on my shoulders/back and very sturdy. I don't really do luxury travel, and sometimes need to walk longer distances and up stairs/steep hills with my luggage and this bag makes it easy. I also sometimes travel where my bag is tied on the roof of a vehicle, and this bag can handle being exposed to the elements.

Observations/recommendations for carry-on size? Nomatic brand? Others?
