I second the simple human rec—they’re expensive but they last. They also sell replacement parts if needed (I replaced my lid because it got dented and I couldn’t stand to look at it)

I saw some nice-looking, less expensive ones at Costco

Not sure what you consider expensive, but our SimpleHuman rectangular trash can is pretty sleek looking. I think we paid around $150 a few years ago. Worth it since it sits out in the kitchen.

We need a 13-gallon trash can which won't fit under our sink cabinet. So, I am looking for something that looks decent in the kitchen. I love the stainless steel ones but they are very expensive. We have been using plastic ones that functioned well but they are not really aesthetic. Any recommendations that will not cost an arm and a leg but still be decent in looks?
