This sounds like a terrible way to live.

Agreed. MRIs are for losers who can't stay healthy on their own.

Yes, I would and zi'd follow up with an email to the GM and the local health board. The GM should know to keep sick employees home.

Yes, I have walked out before. I was pregnant, we sat down, the server came and hacked all over us, then we left.

Once I was checking out a grocery store and the cashier was coughing then repeatedly expectorating into a napkin that was curled between her virus-filled fingers. I held my breath. Then I pulled a Karen and told customer service thAt the cashier in aisle 8 was sick and needed to go home.

No, I don’t think that’s a common vector of foodborne illness. I just wouldn’t chat unnecessarily with the server.

I feel sorry for servers. It’s not an easy job. But is it that darn hard to put a damn disposable mask on? It’s gross to walk around a restaurant coughing.

If I saw the server cough on food that s/he was delivering, yes. Otherwise, probably not.

And would it matter if it was actually your server or just another server you could hear with a super loud cough every time she went into the back (where your food is made, of course)?
