It is a little amazing that the air prices have gone up so fast without really affecting demand. Who would have thought leisure travel was so inelastic?

Terrorism might prompt people to change minds, but I doubt it.

I follow a lot of travel-related social media and groups. You might be surprised to hear cruise ships are still visiting Egypt. They just reroute the stops in Israel. If people are still traveling to Egypt, then I doubt anyone will skip Europe, the Mediterranean, etc.

The amount of money in people's pockets is growing enough that tons of people feel able to spend thousands and thousands on trips to Europe.
