Tell her to take it up with the insurance company and then block her. She sounds like a scammer (and not a very good one!).

I'd respond one more time and tell her you can't help her and that anything related to this incident should be directed toward your insurance company. If she continued to contact me I wouldn't respond and I'd call my insurance company and see what they recommend.

My MIL was an almost-victim of this exact same scam. The mechanic actually suspected the dent was preexisting. PPs are right--block.

I wouldn’t block just to have a record, but don’t respond. You can turn off notifications for her number. You could also call your insurance company, they probably have some process for this.

Last week i was backing out of my parking spot at the grocery store and backed up into another woman’s car who was also backing up from a spot across from me. Her car has a dent but mine doesn’t. She was angry saying she stopped and beeped and I hit her, but I’m not sure if that is true. In any case, we exchanged insurance info and they ruled it 50/50 and my insurance is paying half her deductible. Now k keep receiving texts from her saying she’s a broke single mom and that I need to pay her for the rest of the deductible. I already told her to contact the insurance company directly but she is still texting me about this. What would you do? She had my address and info and I don’t want her to come over or something.
