I do - had an early onset dementia scare. Went Keto and down to one meal a day. I wasn't really overweight to start, and my weight stabilized pretty quickly. I did that for about two years, and lately it seems like I don't need to be as strict with the keto, but still one meal a day. I also am not overly uptight about it - if I'm on vacation, and I want to have a small lunch too with other people, I'll do that.

I do to help with insulin resistance/PCOS. Not sure if it’s working but figured it was worth a try.

I've heard her name mentioned on various podcasts that I listen to, however don't really know what her philosophy is related to fasting. I'm postmenopausal and have practiced fasting off and on, but nothing extreme because it's my understanding that for women in the menopausal stage of life fasting can be detrimental. I do it as a way to keep my weight in check. All that said the fasting I do is not extreme, it's a pretty basic one where I stop all food intake around 6pm, don't eat actual food until 11am but I do have coffee with cream in the morning around 7am which I'm aware technically breaks my fast.

Reading up on “fast like a girl” from dr. Mindy Pelz. Want to make these lifestyle changes as I am deep in perimenopause and none of my usual diet / workout / cardio / weight training seems to be working. Just curious if anyone else is following her principles.
