Subject: DH hasnt said he loves me in years
Been married over 20 years. We say it all the time. Multiple times a day. I can’t imagine not saying it. Are you guys in love? Do you like each other?

In any case OP, my concern for you would be that it sounds like he used to say it often.
This is my husband and me as well. Married 22 years. Even when we fight I might say something like I love you, but right now I am so angry with you.....

Wow DH and I tell each other I love you multiple times a day so surprised at how many are saying they don’t say it at all!

+1 it’s a two way street. We’ve been married a long time and when he walks out the door or ends a phone conversation he always says “love you!” and I say the same thing. Yes, it may be out of habit but we do love each other. We don’t do it in texts or emails unless one of us is traveling.
Us too. Most nights when we turn off the lights that’s the last thing we say to each other.

It’s probably been decades since DH and I have said it to one another. Married for 23 years. Pretty strong marriage/friendship.

I was searching through some old emails for something, and started reading some old emails from DH, upon reading I noticed that DH used to say he loved me in emails. He hasn’t said it in 6 years now, not only in writing but in speaking either. Is this something that should can come back? Is it uncommon not to tell spouse you love them?
