120 words on how you helped someone other than yourself, that’s barely enough space to write out “I helped an old lady across the street and it was very nice.” That’s 13 words, 10% of the essay is done.
It would be nice if they gave the students 150 words, but I don't think the essays need to be more than that. The prompts aren't deep or unique, but still should give the AOs all the info they need about the student.
