You realize that it should be the other way around? EPL stops for international break. NWSL should have a break.
EPL is hugely profitable and is not releasing players for a friendly when in a champion league game or run at the end of the season. Just because the NT requests a player does nit mean the clubs release the player. The USWNT friendly is meaningless.
You think at the minimum they would bring in some younger players and not have the game during the most important part of the NWSL season. Oh no. This just shows a total disregard from the NWSL season and league. Fans are right to be upset.
