We don't celebrate it, but we met on July 4, so it's hard not to mention it! Our wedding anniversary is within a couple of weeks of that, so it's silly to celebrate it twice.

We recognize it but don't consistently celebrate it. It falls about a week after Valentines Day so sometimes it's an in-lieu-of Valentines, or sometimes we do nothing.
Dated and lived together 5 years before marriage, and during that time we did celebrate it as an anniversary.

I have married friends who have been together since high school. They've now been married long enough to have four children and they still celebrate both their wedding anniversary and their dating anniversary. It gives them something to look forward to together every 6 months. I think it's very sweet.

It was a Friday the 13th almost 25 years ago, but yes, we still go out to dinner (and ask the waiter to take a picture of us… we look so old now…) every year on that date.

We don’t celebrate our anniversary since that was dictated by our schedules. In fact, we’ve both just forgotten about it multiple times.

My exDH didn’t even celebrate our marriage anniversaries. Or my birthday and if it were up to him holidays either.

We did. But DH and I were together 14 years before we got married. So we did celebrate anniversary of our first date. We don't anymore, now we just celebrate our wedding anniversary.
