No way! I cancelled. I only took a test bc I would be an A hole going out with Covid. I don’t want to get the cvs nurse sick. And now I have all the immunity I need for winter. I will get flu shot in a few weeks.

I don’t think the office cares when a kid gets a shot? That’s weird to say.

You will have to ask the ped, but if they allow it, do it. My kids have never reacted to the flu shot or any other vaccine, and you need her vaccinated immediately so it can be a few weeks before the baby is born.

I would in your case particularly. You have a good reason to.

My 2 and 3 year olds just moved into a group childcare setting for the first time and at least one of them has had a runny nose/cough literally every single day since August. I am certainly not stopping that from getting them a flu shot.

No, don't bring a sick kid in as they are sick and don't expose others as if you make the workers sick, then they can't help others or make others sick.

My ped office just asked if a fever within 24 hours. My kid was on tail end of a cold and had a rough night after shot. It can be hard to get a flu shot if you have to wait for perfect health in ur little one.

No way. Have pity on your kid. Reschedule even if the nurse tells you it’s ok to go ahead.

Our Pediatrician won't give any immunizations if the child is sick..

Our pediatrician will not do vaccinations if child is obviously sick. Call your oed and ask.

In your circumstances I wouldn't delay it for what sounds like a very minor cold. And she may be 100% in a couple days anyway.

My 2 year old caught a cold yesterday, and she’s scheduled to get a flu shot in a couple days. She is coughing a little and has a slightly runny nose/occasional sneeze. I’ve read that you’re supposed to recover from illness before getting a vaccine because it may make you feel sicker. But I’m 36 weeks pregnant and would really like to have her vaccinated before I give birth. If you’ve gotten your toddler a flu shot while mildly ill with a cold, how did they react?

I will have her mask at the office, and I’m sure it’s not Covid because she recovered from that a couple weeks ago.
