They gave me a bunch of options and I’m not happy with what I picked. I’m asking what others have picked and to see if it helped their dog.

Yes but, your dog is different. Would you ask the same if it was your child? Just try another medicine that the vet recommends! We don't even know what kind of dog you have!

The kind of dog wouldn’t matter. My vet gave me 5 options and literally said pick one and let’s see if it works. Unfortunately it did nothing for them so we are going to pick another. I wanted to see what others picked to see if they were happy with it.

Why wouldn't it matter? Are you saying there is no difference between a great dane and an english bulldog?

Just do what your vet says. You didnt even list the medicines! How on earth can we help?

A dog is a dog. The only difference would be dosage based on weight.

Then call them back.

I think my toy poodle likely has one. She coughs every time she drinks water. Vet says to watch and wait.

I’m the kennel cough poster and my dog has now progressed to the point that the kennel cough is gone but has triggered a collapsed trachea. We were given various options of sedatives and bronchodilators and we picked a bronchodilator. Unfortunately she’s still coughing. What meds are you using? We are considering asking to try an anabolic steroid.
